Just five minutes in to Day 2 and we've lost the first shortstack of the day, bringing the field down to three 9-handed tables.
Binion's Classic tournaments to not do redraws at 27 or 18 players, so the tables break high-to-low. Table 83 has broken, with 82 next when the field hits 18.
Once down to 10 players, all move to the Feature Table for the remainder of the day's play.
We started asking players and tournament directors yesterday why a redraw takes place at 27 and/or 18 players. WPT TD Matt Savage said "randomness," is the reason his tournaments do so. Since table draws and seat assignments are always random, it brought up the question as to why add MORE random aspects to the game with additional redraws. What are your thoughts?
