The Original Back-to-Back

Layne Flack may be known as 'back-to-back' for winning Legends of Poker events in 1999, but he is not the first to do so.

el with us back to 1976 and the WSOP right here, 'Where It All Began,' at Binion's where Howard 'Tahoe' Andrew won a $2,500 Hold'em event and the very next day took down a $1,000 Hold'em, His total winnings for the two events was $51,300.
These days, at age 81, Tahoe can be found playing a lot of Omaha tourneys around northern California and northern Nevada. This will be his 43rd consecutive year of playing WSOP events.
Today he is in the house here at Binion's, playing our $220 PLO High.
