Paul Vecchio - 1st Place - Binion's Poker Classic $1k Championship

Coming back from a 4-1 deficit heads-up, Paul Vecchio takes down the 9th Annual Binion's Poker Classic $1k Championship.

Vecchio's Q8 on the final hand bettered Reuben Hoang's J8 on a Q♦J♥3♦ flop, after the two had agreed an hour earlier to an ICM chop when Hoang has a better than 2-01 chiplead going into heads-up play.

The two agreed to the chop, then play for the final $2,000 in the prize pool, the Championship title and the trophy, all that went to Vecchio.
