$50,000 Guaranteed Championships a Week From Today

Thursday, June 18 is the $50,000 guaranteed Binion's Poker Classic Championships, a $1,000 buy-in featuring 30,000 starting stacks and 60-minute levels.

Players on Day 1 play 12 one-hour levels, bagging chips a little after 1am, coming back on Friday, June 19 to play down to a Series Champion.

For those who question how much the house takes from buy-ins, only 8 percent from the Championships goes to staff costs, with 92 percent going in to the prize pool. How many tournaments do you play these days where less than 10 percent goes for staff and fees?
