Jose Cash-seco
29 Players cashed in today's Event 8, the $160 Hold'em, but none are more high-profile than one pro. No, not a poker pro, former Oakland A's Outfielder, Bash Brother, Steroid King and more .. Jose Canseco.
That's right, Canseco cashed at Binion's in a $160 buyin. He plays at poker rooms around Las Vegas and players we know who have been at tables with him say they have a good time when he is there. He's had his ups-and-down's emotionally while playing this evening, but seems to have settled in now.
We're down to 27 players now and Canseco's table just broke - he was sitting to the right of Team Holdem Radio's Sara Harvey - as they move to three 9-handed tables. We'll let you know what kind of (non) life-changing money he cashes for tonight.

Cashwell Lives up to Name
Billy Cashwell ran over the $220 PLO High final table Friday here in Event 7 at the Binions Poker Classic, closing it out and taking home the $6,080 top prize.
Cashwell was crushing it all day long in this field of 109 players, had a dominant chipstack as players reached the money at 11 when they hit the final table. By the time it was 5-handed he owned 75 percent of all the chips in play. This dramatic tilting of the chipstacks caused quick eliminations of players in 3rd-5th place, and by the time Joe Saccone was heads up with Cashwell he was facing a 6-1 deficit.
Saccone, however, twice rivered a flush coming from behind while all -- once cracking Cashwell's AA -- to stave off elimination within the first 15 hands of heads up play, then caught quad kings when both players had flopped trip aces. This turnaround gave Saccone the chiplead and lead to a lot of who-leads-now for almost an hour before Cashwell regained the lead for good and ended up with the win.
Saccone, from Santa Monica, CA., earned $3,580 as runner up.
Here are the payouts for all of the final 11 players.

You overall chipleader, , has 1.6 of the 2.1 million chips in play, roughly 75 percent of all the chips, so unless he doubles everyone else up, we're not long for the night
And Then There Were 6
Dorman Atchison had all his chips in the middle and was needing help despite having top set and a nut flush draw with his KKAd5d - for his opponent had turned 2nd nut straight
The river was a 7c and Atchison was eliminated in 7th place, earning $930.
A fewhands before, we lost Norm Ohren in 8th, cashing for $735.

On the Bubble
Only took 10 minutes to lose two players and get to the money bubble, 12 players at two 6-handed tables and we are hand-for-hand.
Next player out doesn't cash, remaining 11 guaranteed at least $440 with a top prize of $6,080
Down to 14
we are three players away from the money in Event 7, the $220 PLO High .. 14 players remain, paying 11
Time for Dinner, Where to Go?
That's 12 levels in the books, time for the remaining players in Event 7, the $220 PLO High, to take a half-hour and get some food before settling back into their seats and play it down to a winner tonight.
Take it from me, folks, they may look tempting as you see the signs hanging across the way, there, but 99-cent deep-fried Oreos and 99-cent deep-fried Twinkie are not all that great for dinner.
